The apparitions of Our Lady in Divinópolis, MG, Brazil, started on 1 September 2001, to Leandro Ferreira, on the occasion of 16 years. He says:
“That day, I was praying the Rosary at home by 17:30pm. Our Lady came unexpectedly and saying a message to us all. I was very surprised. I never imagined such a thing. I took the notebook and wrote the message. I prayed other Rosary at 18:00pm. Many people pray at this time. And during this Rosary, she continued the message. After the Rosary, I asked a signal for people to believe. She asked to look at the sky. It was 18:40pm. I looked at the sky and immediately I saw a huge and yellow shooting star. This star crossed the sky and passed in the constellation of the Southern Cross. Our Lady finished the message and went away. Many of those apparotions were in many churches of Divinópolis. Our Lady wanted in this way. Those people present felt much peace at this moment. Sometimes, some young people also saw Our Lady at the same moment as me. When we were interrogated separately, it was proved that we had the same vision. When I saw Our Lady for the first time, I remembered the phrase: “God is love." She was aways beautiful and wonderful. His beauty is indescribable and unforgettable. In the apparitions of Divinopolis, Brazil, Our Lady appeared as a young people 20 years, tanned skin, brown hair, green eyes, lips pink, light blue dress, white veil and hovering on a cloud. Her eyes are round, feature more common in people blacks. Her eyebrows are arched, feature of people indigenous. Her lips is like of people oriental. Her nose is thinner, like of people whites. Therefore, she has characteristics of all races. I remember all the times that she came. Our Lady has a way of Mother and Saint, very Saint. Usually, she came with her arms outstretched and welcoming, other times with her hands in the Heart. Sometimes, she came holding a globe of the world in his hands, other times with a bright white Rosary, other times with flowers and saying that they were our prayers, other times with twelve yellow stars around her head. In the apparitions, Our Lady looked for all the people present. Often, she came happy because of realisation of her requests. Other times, she came worried because of the world’s situation today. Sometimes, she cried because of so many offenses against God. In November 2002, she taught her important Novena. The apparitions were frequent in 2001 and 2002. They were monthly from March 2003 and ended on 1 September 2008.”
Through the Novena teached by Our Lady in Divinópolis, Brazil, many people prayed for the whole world and invoked the Virgin Mary as Mother of Humanity.
