Parable of the Prodigal Son

Luke 15:11-32:

Jesus said: 17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. 21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ 22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

Prayer to accept the God’s will

A mother of sick daughter asked Vicka in Medjugorje what she must do. Vicka said: "A mother carries a large cross when she have a sick daughter. It is the time when the whole family must put everything in God's Hands and say:

"My God, you know what to do and what is best. You know because gives the cross and when You must to remove. You know everything. I know nothing. I give you everything. Give me strength. Do what thou want, and I will be at peace."

Value to accept the God’s will

Our Lady said to the Blessed Ana Maria Taigi:

"My dear child, it is more meritorious to renounce one's own will and submit fully to God's will than make major bodily mortifications."

Many times Christians only in words

Jakov Colo said in Medjugorje:

"We tell that we are Christians, but it is only in words. We are truly Christians? Or these are just words that we do not practice? We have so many brothers who live near us and be hungry. Do we help them? There are many patients in hospitals. Do we visited them? There are many orphans in orphanages. Do we think of these children? And we always say we are Christians. Being a Christian it is to show external actions that we do."

Rejoice and smile every morning

Marija Pavlovic said in Medjugorje:

"Our Lady said that if we can not find the joy, we will can not find God himself. Each morning, we need to smile to ourselves so that we can smile at each other."
