Litany and life of Saint Clare of Assisi

"Lord, have mercy on us.
Christ, have mercy on us.
Lord, have mercy on us.
Christ, hear us.
Christ, graciously hear us.
God the Father of Heaven, have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the world, have mercy on us.
God the Holy Spirit, have mercy on us.
Holy Trinity, One God, have mercy on us.
Holy Mary, pray for us. St. Clare, disciple of San Francisco,

St. Clare, guide of the Poor Clares,
St. Clare, as bright as the sun,
St. Clare, faithful wife of Jesus,
St. Clare, filled with the Holy Spirit,
St. Clare, adoring the Blessed Sacrament,
St. Clare, flower of the Church,
St. Clare, generous with the poors,
St. Clare, lover of the Crucified,
St. Clare, light to the world,
St. Clare, example of charity,
St. Clare, pure in body and soul,
St. Clare, rich with the things of God,
St. Clare, star of the Franciscan Order,
St. Clare, in prayer at all times,
St. Clare, waiver model,
St. Clare, detached before material goods,
St. Clare, brave in the difficulties,
St. Clare, terror of demons,
St. Clare, compassion for the Passion of Jesus,
St. Clare, penitent for sins of the world,
St. Clare, full of miracles,
St. Clare, Burning in the Love Commandment,
St. Clare, great doer of the Word of God,
St. Clare, eternal witness,
St. Clare, patient in sickness and suffering,
St. Clare, big lily of chastity,
St. Clare, clothed in humility,
St. Clare, rose of love for the Virgin Mary,
St. Clare, scent of love for God,
St. Clare, Patron Saint of television,
St. Clare, glorious in death,

Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, spare us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, graciously hear us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, Who takest away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.

Let us pray: God, thou guided St. Clare of Assisi in the way of poverty, chastity and obedience. She became one of the greatest examples of renunciation of material goods. We ask thou, by his example, may we unite ourselves with the spiritual goods that will lead us to the riches of Heaven. Through Christ our Lord. Amen."
