In Medjugorje, Our Lady appears every Christmas holding the Baby Jesus in her arms. At Christmas, she appears dressed in gold and white veil. And with her veil, She covers the Child Jesus. The visionary Marija Pavlovic revealed that the Baby Jesus has black hair and blue eyes just like Our Lady in Medjugorje. After the apparition of December 25, 2020, in this year of pandemic and suffering for the whole of humanity, Marija said:
“Today, Our Lady appeared very beautiful, wearing a golden dress and the Child Jesus in her arms. She had a great joy as every Christmas. Jesus looked at Our Lady and for an instant he looked at me. After giving the message, Our Lady remained silent. The Child Jesus looked at Our Lady with a tenderness and a beauty and it made me cry with emotion... This moved me a lot because I saw the tenderness of God in a Child. Our Lady looked at the Baby Jesus for a moment. She looked at us most of the time. And the Child Jesus looked at Her most of the time with a beautiful, beautiful look... And it was even difficult to describe it after the apparition. So, I gave him this situation that we are experiencing and I asked him to free us from all of this. And today it is difficult to see a newborn child. There are not as many as before. So many couples are afraid of having children. Today many do not believe that children are a blessing from God. Today they do not want to have many children because they think they cannot survive. Children are not a blessing, but a concern for these people. We must walk with Our Lady and with the hope that She brought us tonight. Today we are afraid of the future. And Our Lady asks us today to hope for a better future. I remember the first days of the apparitions, when we prepared for Christmas with Confession and with love, because Christians are recognized by love. We see priests and Christians saying that God is merciful... and that we don't need to do much for our salvation... But it's not like that. We cannot be passive Christians. We must witness with our life and our prayer and be loving, because Our Lady is full of love for Humanity. She is the Lady of the future. Her Immaculate Heart will triumph. We must walk with Our Lady and work for that.”
